On May 18, 2021, South Africa notified the WTO of the draft directive (G/SPS/N/ZAF/69/Add.2). From May 15, 2021, when the National Plant Protection Organization of South Africa (NPPOZA) issues a phytosanitary certificate, it will print the phytosanitary certificate on ordinary A4 paper and add a watermark as an additional protective measure.
