After the institutional reform of national food safety regulatory authorities in March, 2018, a new authority called State Administration for Market Regulation was established and the responsibility of entry-exit inspection and quarantine of former AQSIQ was assigned to the General Administration of Customs. So, what is the latest food safety regulatory framework in China? What changes have been made to the regulation of imported foods?


During this session, Global Foodmate will elaborate who are responsible for the supervision of imported foods in China, how do overseas exporters and importers manage the food import and will give instructions on China food market access.

Yuting Sun is Overseas Project Manager of Global Foodmate, which is the leading Chinese regulatory consulting company in food industry. She completed her undergraduate work at China Agricultural University and her graduate degree at University of Helsinki, Finland. She is experienced in food import & export regulations, food market access requirements and Sino-foreign cooperation.
