Foreword

This standard replaces GB 5413.25-2010 “National food safety standard Determination of inositol in foods for infants and young children, milk and milk products”.

Compared with GB 5413.25-2010, the major changes of this standard are as follows:

——the name of standard has been revised to “National food safety standard Determination of inositol in foods”;

——the limit of detection and limit of quantitation of food have been added;

——the applicable scope of the method has been revised;

——the methods for test sample preparation and sample pretreatment have been revised;

——the precision has been revised.
