On September 27, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of the Republic of Korea issued import inspection instructions for products containing cinnamon.

Type of food inspected: Natural spices, other processed agricultural products, steeped tea, solid tea (products containing 100% cinnamon as raw material)

Inspection items: Lead
