EU extends authorization period for 13 active substances including Azoxystrobin

According to the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU), on November 4, 2024, the European Commission issued Regulation (EU) No. 2024/2781 extending the authorization period for 13 active substances, including Azoxystrobin, and the Regulation will enter into force on the twentieth day from the date of its publication.

  

According to the regulation, the approval period of 8-hydroxyquinoline is extended to December 31, 2025.

  

The approval period for fluroxypyr is extended to February 15, 2027.

  

The approval period for the following substances have been extended to May 31, 2027: Aminopyralid, Azoxystrobin, Candida oleophila strain O, Chlorantraniliprole, Imazalil, Kresoxim-methyl, Metobromuron, Oxyfluorfen, Paecilomyces fumosoroseus strain FE 9901, Tefluthrin, and Terbuthylazine.
