On November 5, 2024, the Singapore Food Authority (SFA) announced that it would resume imports of pork and pork products from China's Hunan Province.
On October 22, 2018, Singapore imposed temporary import restrictions on pork and pork products from Taojiang County, Yiyang City, Hunan Province, and Taoyuan County, Changde City, China, where African swine fever (ASF) outbreaks occurred.
At present, the outbreak in the region has been resolved, the Food Board of Singapore said that the above import restrictions are lifted.
