Serbia amends the standard regulation on requirements for limits of contaminants in food

On 18 November 2024, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources of Serbia issued a Public Notice amending the Standard Regulation on Requirements for Limits of Contaminants in Food (i.e. Official Gazette 73/24). The Regulation entered into force on the eighth day from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia.

 

The main element is the establishment of a limit of 0.25 μg/kg for aflatoxin M1 in raw cow's milk, heat-pasteurised milk and milk raw materials for processing of dairy products, which is valid until 30 November 2025.
