In order to further promote the registration work of formula milk powder for infants and young children, China Food and Drug Administration issued the “Application material items and requirements of product formula registration for formula milk powder for infants and young children (trial) (2017 revised edition)” on the basis of soliciting public opinions from all sectors of society.

In order to further strengthen the registration work of formula milk powder for infants and young children and regulate label management of product formula registration for formula milk powder for infants and young children, China Food and Drug Administration formulated and published the “Technical guiding principles for label specifications of product formula registration for formula milk powder for infants and young children (trial)” according to the provisions of “Administrative measures for product formula registration for formula milk powder for infants and young children” and relevant national standards for food safety, etc.

In order to regulate the use of food rapid detection methods, the China Food and Drug Administration issued 6 food rapid detection methods as “Rapid detection of malachite green in the aquatic product gold immuno-chromatography assay”, etc.


According to the requirements of the formulation and revision plan of the national food safety standard issued by the National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People’s Republic of China, the drafting unit completed the draft revision of the standard of “National food safety standard Food flavour”, and solicited public opinions on it, the deadline is July 10, 2017.
