Since August, CAC standards have been updated more frequently. According to the statistics of the Foodmate, as of August 20, 2018, 51 standards have been updated, and a new standard has been issued, mainly related to general standards such as food additives and labels, as well as specific product standards such as dairy products, aquatic products and their products. The specific introduction is as follows:
Food additives and labels
Labeling standards and food additive standards are general food standards for all prepackaged foods. The CAC revised the General Standard for Labelling of Prepackaged Foods (CODEX STAN 1-1985) and the General Codex Standard for Food Additives (CODEX STAN 192-1995). The food additive classification name and international numbering system (CAC/GL 36-1989) and the food additive specification catalogue 2018 (CAC/MISC 6-2018) were revised simultaneously.

CAC revised a total of 33 dairy standards, including fermented milk, milk powder, whey and many cheese products, of which up to 20 standard cheese products were revised. The standard update of dairy products is shown in Table 1:

CAC revised 11 standards for aquatic products and their products, mainly related to shrimp, crab, fish sauce and canned fish. The update is shown in Table 2:

Other standards
In addition to the above criteria, CAC has updated hygienic and other product standards, specifically for low moisture content food hygiene practices (CAC/RCP 75-2015), instant noodle standards (CODEX STAN 249-2006) and specific canned fruit standards ( Codex Stan 319-2015). In addition, the CAC Vegetable and Fruit Board released the new eggplant standard (CODEX STAN 330-2018) in August.
