The Food Safety Law and the Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Food Safety of Internet Catering Services have clearly defined the obligations of third-party online catering services and catering service providers. All market entities must strictly abide by relevant laws and regulations. Strengthen safety measures and practice standards, and earnestly fulfill the main responsibilities.
The meeting put forward clear requirements for the further implementation of the main responsibilities of the online catering service platform: First, the catering service platform completed the self-examination and self-correction of the records of its branches within one month to ensure that the rectification was in place. Second, the catering service platform completed on-site verification of all catering service providers within one month to ensure that they have physical stores and obtain food business licenses according to law. The third is to strengthen the management of delivery personnel and food safety knowledge to ensure that the distribution container is clean, the food during the distribution process is not polluted, strictly fulfill the record obligation, encourage food seals, and “Ming kitchen bright stove” on the Internet. The fourth is to “use the network management network” to handle consumer complaints in a timely manner. For the problems of the media exposure of the online merchants, the catering service platform should respond to the first time. Incorporate the dishonest catering service provider into the “blacklist” and notify the regulatory authorities in a timely manner. The fifth is to further improve and implement the complaints reporting and reward mechanism, and encourage distribution personnel and catering service practitioners to report food safety violations.
The meeting emphasized that food safety supervision departments at all levels should further strengthen the food safety supervision measures of the online catering service platform, increase supervision, urge the network platform to implement the main responsibility, and fulfill the responsibility for food safety protection in the review, supervision, management and distribution of online merchants. We will fulfill our responsibility to protect consumers' rights and interests, effectively improve the quality and safety of catering services, maintain strict punishments for violations of laws and regulations, and create a high-pressure situation for the people to eat and enjoy the food and beverage environment that people can rest assured.
