Letter of the GAC on the Continuation of Infant Formulas Registration of Overseas Production Enterprises

On March 13th, 2018, the former CNCA issued the "Notice on the Continuation of Infant Formulas Registration of Overseas Production Enterprises" (Announcement No. 9 of 2018). The continuation the overseas enterprises of imported infant formula milk products, the registration application method, application time, follow-up processing, application format and documents to be submitted have the relevant requirements.
In fact that the registration management functions of overseas food production enterprises have been transferred to the General Administration of Customs after the Chinese institutional reform, the embassies in China are requested to inform their embassies authorities and related enterprises. Please submit the application and related materials for renewal registration to the General Administration of Customs as far as possible before December 15th, 2018. Chinese authorities needs the necessary working hours to complete the document review. If you submit your application later than December 15th, it may affect the trade of related products.
