According to the Regulations on the Administration of New Varieties of Food Additives, on April 9, 2019, the National Food Safety Risk Assessment Center released D-glucurono-γ-lactone, caramel colour, disodium ethylene-diamine-tetra-acetate, and ε-poly-L-lysine٠HCl. The new varieties of four kinds of food additives should be open to the public for public opinion. The deadline for soliciting opinions for each application is 30 days from the date of publication.
