Various countries around the world have banned exports of certain food commodities during COVID-19 pandemic, to protect their domestic supplies.

FOODMATE therefore summarised several restriction measures taken by some countries (followed with news in Chinese), as of now, for your reference.

Eurasian Economic Union (Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan): restricted the exports of 14 categories of foods outside the union from April 12 to June 30, 2020, which namely are onions, garlic, turnips, rye, rice, millet, buckwheat and buckwheat products, whole wheat flour, grain granules, soybeans (crushed and uncrushed) and sunflower seeds.
(欧亚经济联盟成员国或地区： 2020年4月12日至6月30日期间，禁止欧亚经济联盟成员国/地区出口下列14种品类的粮食和蔬菜：洋葱、蒜、萝卜、黑麦、大米、小米、荞麦、荞麦米、荞麦制成品、粮食碎粒、全麦面粉、谷物颗粒、大豆和大豆碎、葵花籽。(欧亚经济委员会是欧亚经济联盟（2015年1月1日成立，成员国包括俄罗斯、白俄罗斯、哈萨克斯坦、吉尔吉斯斯坦和亚美尼亚）


Romania: banned grain exports to non-European Union, including wheat, barley, oats, maize, rice, wheat flour, oilseeds and sugar, since April 10, 2020. 
(4月10日，罗马尼亚禁止向欧盟以外国家和地区出口谷物和油籽，其中包括小麦、大麦、燕麦、玉米、大米、面粉、油籽以及白糖) 

 
Cambodia: banned some rice exports starting April 5, 2020, and suspended all fish exports afterwards.  
(柬埔寨：从4月5日起，除了香米，将禁止白米和稻米出口，之后暂停了鱼类出口)

Egypt: barred exports of legumes for three months, reported on March 28, 2020.
(埃及：3月28日，未来3个月内停止各种豆类产品的出口)

 
Thailand: banned egg exports from March 26 to April 30, 2020.
(泰国：3月26日至4月30日期间禁止出口鸡蛋)

 
Vietnam: suspended rice export from March 24, 2020. However,
(越南：从2020年3月24日零点开始，各种大米产品禁止以任何形式出口)

 
Serbia: banned exports of unprocessed sunflower seed, sunflower oil and semi-processed oil, reported on March 17, 2020.
(塞尔维亚：暂停出口葵花籽油等农产品)
