Foreword
This standard replaces GB 2023-2003 “Food additive Lactic acid”.
Compared with GB 2023-2003, the major changes of this standard are as follows:
——the sensory requirements have been revised;
——the indicators of lactic acid content, content of L-lactic acid in total lactic acid and cyanide have been revised;
——the indicators of the chromaticity, solubility in ether, methanol (as CH3OH), calcium salts and heavy metals (as Pb) have been deleted;
——the indicator and test method of lead have been added;
——test methods for identification test, lactic acid content, residue on ignition, citric acid, oxalic acid, phosphoric acid and tartaric acid have been revised;
——some of the reference standards for the test methods have been adjusted to the latest version.
