This standard replaces GB 19191-2003 “Food additive Natural vitamin E”.
Compared with GB 19191-2003, the major changes of this standard are as follows:
——the title of standard has been revised to “National food safety standard Food additive Vitamin E”;
——the types of tocopherol contained in vitamin E have been revised;
——the requirement for refractive index has been added;
——the requirement for absorptivity indicator has been added.
