Foreword

This standard replaces contents related to rubber polymers in GB 4806.1-1994 “Hygienic standard for foodstuff rubber products” and “Announcement about publishing the list of 107 resins allowable for food packaging materials including polytetramethylene adipamide, etc.” (Announcement No. 23, 2011 of the original Ministry of Health).

Compared with the replaced standard and announcement, the major changes of this standard are as follows:

—— the name of this standard has been modified as “National food safety standard Food contact rubber materials and articles”;

—— the “Scope” has been modified;

—— the “Basic requirements” has been added;

—— the “Requirements for raw materials” has been added;

—— the “Physicochemical indicators” has been modified;

—— the requirements for “Migration test” have been added;

—— the requirements for “Labeling and marking” have been added;

—— the “Annex A” has been added.
