    Foreword

    This standard replaces SN/T 1635-2005 “Detection of norovirus in shellfish - Conventional RT-PCR and real-time RT-PCR”.

    Compared with SN/T 1635-2005, major changes of this standard are as follows:

    ——the standard name has been modified to “National food safety standard - Food microbiological examination - Examination of norovirus”;

    ——the detection scope of this standard has been enlarged from “shellfishes” to “foods”;

    ——the “Operation procedures” have been modified;

    ——the “Quality control requirements” have been added. See Annex C;

    ——the “Conventional RT-PCR method” has been deleted.
