Foreword
This standard replaces GB 5413.23-2010 “National food safety standard Determination of iodine in foods for infants and young children, milk and milk products”, SC/T 3010-2001 “Determination of iodine in kelp” and WS 302-2008 “Method for determination of iodine in foodstuff by As (III)-Ce4+catalytic spectrophotometry”.
Compared with the above standards, the major changes of this standard are as follows:
——the name of this standard has been revised to “National food safety standard Determination of iodine in foods”;
——the test sample preparation and pretreatment method of oxidation-reduction titration method has been revised;
——the limit of detection for oxidation-reduction titration method has been added.
