13 Kyrgyzstan companies obtained the qualification to export dairy products to China

 
According to Kyrgyzstan’s Tazabek news website on August 20, Kyrgyzstan’s State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety and Quarantine Service stated that 13 Kyrgyz companies have obtained the qualification to export dairy products to China. According to statistics from the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan, from January to December 2019, Kyrgyzstan produced 1.6277 million tons of milk, a year-on-year increase of 2.4%. In 2019, the export volume of Kyrgyzstan's dairy products was 30,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 3268 tons.

In June 2019, Kyrgyzstan's National Veterinary and Plant Health Safety and Quarantine Bureau and the General Administration of Customs of China signed a protocol on the inspection and quarantine requirements for Kyrgyzstan's dairy products exported to China. Under the framework of the protocol, 13 companies have obtained the qualifications for exporting dairy products to China.
