Australia and New Zealand Issues Amendment No. 196 to the Food Standards Code


On December 3, Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) issued amendment No. 196 contains amendments to the following Standards in the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code:

The Applications under which these amendments are made are as follows:

A1192 – Food derived from herbicide-tolerant corn line MON87429

A1194 – Glucoamylase from GM Trichoderma reesei as PA (Enzyme)

A1195 – Alpha-amylase as a processing aid (enzyme)

A1196 – Food derived from nematode-protected and herbicide-tolerant soybean GMB151

A1199 – Food derived from Innate potato lines V11 & Z6
