On January 7, the General Administration of Customs issued an announcement on the revision of the "Regulations for the Setup of Customs Supervised Workplaces (Sites)”, “Specifications for the Installation of Surveillance Cameras on Customs Supervised Workplaces (sites)” and the “Administrative Specifications for Customs Designated Supervision Sites”. The content involves the revision of Item (2) of Article 3 of Chapter 1 "General Provisions" of "Customs Supervision Workplace (Site) Setting Specification" to: "For inspection operation area, this functional area is mainly for inspection, equipped with necessary storage areas and temporary storage areas, detention areas, technical rectification areas, etc. Customs-supervised workplaces (sites) involve the operation of businesses such as imported cars, ordinary food, imported cold-chain food, imported edible aquatic animals, imported fruits, imported wood, imported grain, imported seedlings, fresh and live products for Hong Kong and Macao, blood and other special items, containers/vans carrying goods; in addition, for passenger cars entering and leaving the country at highway ports, the specific setup requirements for the corresponding inspection operation area are detailed in the "Customs Supervision Workplace ( Site) Inspection Work Area Setting Specification "(Annex 2)" etc.
