On December 6, the South Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) issued a notice exempting food from submitting photos when applying for imported food, the specific exempted product categories are as follows:

1. The special imported food safety management implementation rules article 2, item 가 1) ~ 3) (including import food, used to earn foreign exchange for the company in the production of products with raw materials, such as used in the investigation and study of imported food).

2. Other exempted product categories: live, refrigerated and unpackaged aquatic products in their natural state, agricultural and forestry products, meat, food imported by tankers, etc. (crude alcohol, edible oils, food additives, etc.), food raw materials to be refined and processed (for sale), food additives (spices and flavouring preparations).
