SPUTNIK, Moscow, December 20t--Russian Animal and Plant Inspection and Quarantine Bureau stated that the bureau and the Chinese competent authority have reached an agreement on the veterinary health certificate for the export of alfalfa to China.
According to the news, "The Russian Animal and Plant Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and the Department of Animal and Plant Quarantine, GACC reached an agreement on the veterinary health certificate for Russia's export of alfalfa to China."
During Russia’s President Vladimir Putin's visit to China on February 4, 2022, Russia and China signed a bilateral agreement to allow the export of wheat and barley from all of Russia to China and the supply of alfalfa to China.
The Russian Animal and Plant Inspection and Quarantine Bureau stated that producers interested in exporting alfalfa to China must undergo inspection according to national requirements and be included in the list of exporters in the federal state system in the field of veterinary health.
