According to news from SeafoodMedia on June 23, the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) has approved another 16 Russian companies to directly export aquatic products to China for production, transportation and storage. At present, a total of 891 Russian companies have been included in the list with the right to supply to China.

The Russian General Administration of Industry plans to continue to expand the list of enterprises exporting to China. For newly registered companies, they must register in the China import Food Enterprise Registration (CIFER).

CIFER system reminder: Products entering the system before January 1, 2022, including Russian producers providing fish products, need to submit amendment applications and update relevant company information before June 30, 2023.
