Argentina's El Horn newspaper reported on April 24 that China continues to be the largest market for Argentine beef exports since 2024.
76.6% of Argentine beef exports went to the Chinese market in March, including 33,600 tons of boneless beef and 15,700 tons of beef and beef bones with bones, with a total export value of $137 million.
78.6% of Argentine beef exports went to the Chinese market in the January-March period, with an average price of $3,330 per ton of beef to China, significantly lower than the price level in May 2022 ($5,900 per ton). The average price of beef exported to China was US$3,330 per ton, significantly lower than the May 2022 price level (US$5,900 per ton).
