Announcement of China Food and Drug Administration about further strengthening supervision of quality safety of wheat flour

On November 2nd, 2017, China Food and Drug Administration issued “Announcement about further strengthening supervision of quality safety of wheat flour” which explicitly stipulated requirements of raw & auxiliary materials, additives and labeling for production process of enterprises.

Standing Committee of the National People's Congress reviewed and passed the newly revised “Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China”

On November 4th, 2017, “Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China” was revised and passed by the 30th meeting of the 12th Standing Committee of the National People's Congress which would be implemented on January 1st, 2018. Legal status of group standard was explicited, mandatory industrial standard & local standard were canceled, and articles regarding abolished standards were deleted in the new edition.

Letter of National Technical Committee on Brewing Beer of Standardization Administration of China about soliciting opinions on the national standard “Beer” (exposure draft)

On November 6th, 2017, National Technical Committee on Brewing Beer of Standardization Administration of China issued the national standard “Beer” (exposure draft) and solicited public opinions, and opinions should be submitted before November 29th, 2017.
