On 6 July 2022, the Croatian Ministry of Health issued notice no. 1139 in the official Gazette, amending the regulations on food supplements, which will take effect 8 days from the date of publication.  Major amendments include:  

(1) Article 5, paragraph 1, is amended to : "Vitamins and minerals listed in Annex I of Directive 2002/46/EC may be used in the production of food supplements in the form listed in Annex II of Directive 2002/46/EC";  
 
(2) Article 7, paragraph 2, is amended to : "The vitamins and minerals present in products referred to in point 7 of paragraph 1 of this article are expressed in units of measurement in Annex I of Directive 2002/46/EC, which represent the percentage of intake recommended by the regulation".
