Australia and New Zealand to approved a thermolysin as processing aid

According to Food Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ) news, on December 21, 2023, Food Standards Australia and New Zealand issued Notice 276-23, in which application number A1288, Application for the use of thermolysin from Anoxybacillus caldiproteolyticus Rokko as a processing aid.

 

According to the notice, the thermolysin is used in the processing of dairy products, eggs, meat and fish, protein concentrates and isolates, yeast and brewing.
