According to the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU), on 20 December 2023, the European Commission issued Regulation (EU) No 2023/2851 approving the placing on the market of partially hydrolysed protein from spent barley and rice residues as a novel food in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 2015/2283 of the European Parliament and of the Council and amending the Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2470 as regards the placing on the market of a novel food. barley and rice) to be placed on the market as a novel food product and amending the Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2470.

 

This Regulation enters into force on the twentieth day from the date of its publication.
