Case Study | Co<em></em>ntaining insects and faking production dates by Global Foodmate


Consumer Rao bought pear syrup produced by Liruntang Food Company. The food ingredients of the product involved "ginseng (planted)", but the unsuitable crowds and the limits of consumption were not labelled on the package. However, the product website stated that the applicable population were: all person above 8 years old can consume it (diabetic patients should follow the doctor's advice). 


Therefore, the court finally rejected the claim of ten times compensation from Rao.
