On 13 March, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) issued Announcement No. 2024-133, adding azelastine to the "Guidelines for Designating and Lifting the Ban on the import of Raw Material Ingredients of Overseas Food, Etc." as a food ingredient prohibited from imported into Korea , as shown in the table below:
