China's Bulk Food Safety Remains Stable with Low Non-Compliance Rates for Five Consecutive Years
On December 24, 2025, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) announced the overall food safety situation for 2025. The results indicate that China's food safety status remains generally stable, with the non-compliance rates for bulk food categories such as rice, flour, cooking oil, meat, and dairy consistently staying low for five consecutive years. Significant improvements have also been observed in key inspection indicators.
