SPUTNIK - Russia's largest dairy products Ekoniva Group has reached a preliminary agreement on the export of its own brand of semi-hard cheese and hard cheese to China, according to the company's press service.

Agox Group's plant in Voronezh Oblast, Russia, has been authorized to export to the member states of the Customs Union and Uzbekistan. The group is currently preparing for the completion of all necessary processes with the aim of adding new export destinations, including China.

In the past year, Agox has actively increased its visibility in central China. In the summer of 2020, AGco started milk exports to China. The group now exports about 1,800 tonnes to China, including more than 350 tonnes this year.

In January 2024, Ekoniva (Xi'an) Dairy Co., Ltd. opened its official representative office in Xi'an, and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Xi'an Chanba International Port in April.
