Foreword

This standard replaces GB/T 5009.156-2003 “General principle for the determination of migration of packaging materials and their products”.

Compared with GB/T 5009.156-2003, major changes of this standard are as follows:

——the name of standard has been revised to “National food safety standard General principle for pretreatment method of migration test for food contact materials and articles”;

——the terms and definitions have been revised;

——the general test rules have been added;

——the reagents and materials have been added;

——the equipment and instrument have been added;

——the methods for sampling and sample preparation have been revised;

——the test sample contact area has been revised;

——the ratio of test sample contact area to food simulant volume has been added;

——the cleaning of test sample has been revised;

——the test methods have been revised;

——the requirements for determination of migration quantity have been added;

——the requirements for result expression have been revised;

——the “Annex A Sampling method for food packaging materials” in original standard has been deleted;

——the “Annex B Test items and test conditions for determination of migration” in original standard has been deleted;

——the Annex A, Annex B, Annex C and Annex D have been added.
