Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) organised inspections of foods and found out 10 batches of foods unqualified, including edible agricultural products, pastry products and edible sugars. The unqualified reasons were excessive residues of pesticides and veterinary drugs, heavy metal contamination, excessive use of food additives and others.
