Carrying out the market-based procurement exclusion of the US commodity subject to imposition of additional tariffs, these products from US can be declared for exemption
On February 18, 2020, the Tariff Commission of the State Council issued an announcement to carry out the market-based procurement exclusion of the US commodity subject to imposition of additional tariffs.
The entities of application are domestic enterprises that intend to sign a contract to purchase and import related goods from the United States. The range of products that can be excluded are: solid milk and cream with a fat content of 1.5% or less; packaged formula milk powder for infants and young children (for retail); lactalbumin, including two or more whey protein concentrates, etc.
The declaration system will accept applications from March 2, 2020.
