On July 27, the State Administration for Market Regulation is soliciting public opinion on the draft Measures for supervision and Administration of Food Labeling with the deadline of August 26, 2020.The measures are applicable to the labeling, supervision and administration of food (including special food and food additives) in production and marketing, and integrate the Provisions on Food Labeling Administration promulgated by the former General Administration of Quality Supervision at the same time, Inspection and Quarantine and the Provisions on Health Food Labeling promulgated by the former Ministry of Health.The provisions stipulate that 0-6 months old infant formula milk powder shall not carry out content claim and function claim;In the production or marketing of genetically modified food, the words "genetically modified" shall be clearly marked on the food labels;imported food shall be labeled with Chinese labels. Chinese labels shall be pasted directly, printed or labeled on the minimum package of food for sale, and Chinese labels shall not be affixed again to labels in foreign languages.

        7月27日，国家市场监督管理总局就《食品标识监督管理办法（征求意见稿）》公开征求意见，截止日期为2020年8月26日。该办法适用于生产经营食品（含特殊食品、食品添加剂）的标识标注及其监督管理，同时整合了原质检总局公布的《食品标识管理规定》、原卫生部公布的《保健食品标识规定》。其中规定适用于0-6月龄的婴幼儿配方乳粉不得进行含量声称和功能声称；生产经营转基因食品，应当在食品标识上显著标示“转基因”字样；进口食品应当标注中文标识，中文标识应当直接粘贴、印刷或者标注在食品的最小销售包装上，不得在外文标识上再次加贴中文标识等。
