Interpretation of GACC on the “Administrative Measures on import and Export Food Safety of the People's Republic of China”
On April 26, the General Administration of Customs issued the interpretation of the “Administrative Measures on import and Export Food Safety of the People's Republic of China”, which involves implementing the requirements of the Party Central Committee, the State Council and relevant laws and regulations on further strengthening food safety work; summarizing major food safety incidents and responding to the epidemic, especially experience in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic, improving risk warning and control measures; consolidating the comprehensive and deepening reform of customs, the in-depth integration results of customs inspection business and law enforcement experience; optimizing and integrating the regulatory structure of customs in the field of food safety supervision.
4月26日,海关总署发布《中华人民共和国进出口食品安全管理办法》的解读,内容涉及贯彻落实党中央、国务院以及相关法律法规关于进一步强化食品安全工作的要求;总结重大食品安全事件及疫情疫病应对,特别是新冠肺炎疫情防控经验,完善风险预警及控制措施;固化海关全面深化改革、关检业务深度融合成果及执法经验;优化整合海关食品安全监管领域规章结构布局等。
