Argentine agricultural exports hit a record high in September, boosted by the soybean dollar programme

Joint report by Argentina Agricultural information and La Nación on September 21, according to the data Argentine Oil Industry Chamber of Commerce and Cereal Exporters Center (CIARA - CEC Cámara de la Industria Aceitera de la República Argentina & Centro Exportador de Cereales) released on 21, Sept, under the promotion of the "soybean dollar" plan on Argentine agricultural export growth, the national agricultural exports reached $5.13 billion from September 1 up to now, exceeding the minimum 5 billion dollars that Economy Minister Sergio Massa had predicted when the program was launched. It is an increase of 898 million dollars compared to the previous peak of 4.232 billion dollars, in May 2022.

Since the implementation of the "soybean dollar" program on September 5, Argentina's soybean export volume has reached 10.57 million tons as of September 21. At present, 62 percent of Argentine 2021/22 soybean production (43.5 million tons) has finished the export trade.
