On October 4, the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) issued an import inspection directive for Halloween candy and chocolate.

Inspection items: candy (prohibited tar coloring, total plate count (only sealed products, fermented products or products containing lactic acid bacteria excepted ), gel strength (cup jelly), total acid)

Chocolate (prohibited tar coloring, total plate count (only sealed products, fermented products or products containing lactic acid bacteria excepted)

Inspection time: 4, Oct - 14, Oct.

Inspection method: once for each manufacturer (additional inspection can be carried out if necessary)
