Mexican agricultural exports hit a 30-year high

Mexican newspaper Reforma reported on October 20, according to Mexico's National statistics Bureau and Mexico's central bank statistics, from January to August this year, Mexico's agricultural exports reached 34.123 billion dollars, up 15.5% year on year, the highest level in 30 years. The income contribution is only lower to remittances at the second place. In the same period, the import of agricultural products to Mexico was 28.837 billion US dollars, with a trade surplus of 5.286 billion US dollars. Mexico's main agricultural exports include beer, tequila and avocados.
