On December 18, 2022, the amendments to the technical regulations and reference standards of the Eurasian Economic Union's (EAEU) "Food Safety" came into effect. The revisions are as follows:
Supplement the list of inter-country standards and national standards: Supplement the unified sampling and testing methods for pathogenic microorganisms such as botulism, mycotoxins and antibiotics in various types of products. The products involved include: bakery products, tea products, flour for baking, etc.;
Incorporate corresponding standards and methods in the updated version of the standard, including inter-country standards, Kyrgyz Republic national standards and test methods;
Delete some clauses in inter-country standards and national standards that contradict the validity period of the standards.
