According to news from the British government website on March 29, 2023, after risk assessment, the British Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and the British Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) have imposed restrictions on poultry meat and products (including ratites) exported to the UK from highly pathogenic avian influenza control areas. The minimum monitoring time requirement for bird flu, that is, the lifting time of the highly pathogenic bird flu control area, has been reduced from 90 days to 30 days, and the relevant content of the veterinary health certificate of poultry meat and products exported to the UK has been revised.
