The Italian Ministry of Health reminds consumers who have purchased the above batch of products not to eat them and return them to the point of sale.

The insecticide chlorpyrifos has been used in agriculture since its introduction in 1965 to kill pests, including insects and worms, according to reports. Previously, the European Food Safety Authority (ESFA) confirmed that the pesticide was harmful to human health, so the EU has banned the use of this pesticide.
