Cambodian pepper approved to export to China

According to the news released by the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia, the General Administration of Customs of China released the list of registered companies exporting Cambodian seasonings to China on May 11, marking that Cambodian pepper has completed all procedures for exporting to China and can be exported to China. There are 28 pepper planting bases and 7 packing factories that have been registered and approved by the Chinese side to export to China.


In order to speed up the implementation of the Protocol on Phytosanitary Requirements for Cambodian Pepper Exported to China signed by China and Cambodia in November 2022, the General Administration of Customs of China, the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia and the Cambodian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries jointly held a video link on April 10-11 Conducted a compliance review of the Cambodian pepper planting bases and packaging plants exported to China.


Pepper is the first Cambodian agricultural product approved to be exported to China this year, and it is also the first seasoning crop approved to be exported to China.
