At present, Vietnamese lychees have gradually entered the harvest season. about 1,000 tons of fresh lychees have been exported to China through the Jincheng No. 2 International Highway Port in Lao Cai Province. On average, more than 20 lychee trucks pass through the customs every day.
The Jincheng No. 2 International Highway Port opened a green channel for lychees first, and assisted in filling out the customs declaration form, so that lychees can pass through the customs on the same day, and try to avoid loss as much as possible. Lao Cai Province is stepping up the digital construction of ports to shorten the customs clearance time of goods.
It is expected that the lychees in Hung Yen Province and Bac Giang Province will enter the mature stage soon. The production of lychees in Tan Yen, Bac Giang alone has reached 17,000 tons, of which about 8,000 tons are planned to be exported to China, Japan, the United States and the European Union.
At present, Bac Giang Province has obtained 178 codes for lychee export planting areas, of which 110 are for exporting to China. Bac Giang Province is proposing to sign 13 new lychee planting area codes that are approved to be exported to China, increasing the coded area to 16,609 hectares, and the output for export will reach about 110,000 tons.
