According to the Myanmar Trade Promotion Group, more than 10 countries have given Myanmar coffee a zero-tariff policy.

It is understood that at present, Myanmar coffee is mainly exported to more than 10 countries including the United States, Japan, Belgium, China, Germany, Vietnam, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Russia, France, and Spain. Companies from the above countries import Myanmar coffee and enjoy a zero-tariff policy.

The director of the Myanmar Trade Promotion Group said that in order to increase exports, we are carrying out related work. At the same time, in order to meet domestic demand, the area under coffee cultivation is being expanded. At present, there are about 50,000 acres of coffee planted in Myanmar. The market price of a ton of special-grade coffee beans is about 7,500 US dollars, and that of ordinary market-grade coffee is between 3,000-4,500 US dollars.
