Vietnamese poultry eggs have obtained permission to re-export to the Hong Kong market

The Veterinary Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam recently revealed that Vietnamese poultry eggs have obtained permission to re-export to the Hong Kong market.


The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department of Hong Kong, China recently revealed that it has sent a letter announcing the lifting of the import ban on poultry eggs and poultry egg products from Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai provinces in Vietnam.


It is reported that from August, enterprises, farms and breeders in Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai provinces can export poultry eggs and poultry egg products to Hong Kong through official trade channels.


Poultry eggs and their products exported to Hong Kong must be inspected by the Bureau of Veterinary Medicine and issued an export commodity inspection and quarantine certificate. The certificate shall be issued in the form and content agreed upon with the Hong Kong side.
