On August 6, the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) issued Announcement No. 95 of 2023, announcing that the import of Indonesian konjac flour that meets the relevant requirements will be allowed from now on.
Indonesian konjac powder exported to China refers to the dry powder not directly for human consumption obtained by physical processing from the tubers of Amorphophallus muelleri grown and processed in Indonesia.
At the same time, the announcement also lists in detail the relevant requirements to be met for imports, including requirements for manufacturers, phytosanitary requirements, production requirements, packaging requirements, etc.
