On November 9, 2023, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of the Republic of Korea revised the Implementation Rules of the imported Food Law to revise the standards for the same company and the same food. The main revisions are:

(1) For the same food of the same aquatic product company, the inspection standard adds "manufacturing company", which will be implemented from November 26, 2023 (subject to the date of shipment);

(2) For the same food of the same processed food and animal product processing company, the "product name" is deleted from the inspection standards, which will be implemented from January 1, 2024 (based on the acceptance date).
